GENERAL PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF THE POSITION: The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (AVCSA) reports directly to the Campus Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs (VCSA). The Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs will provide leadership in functional areas as assigned by the Campus Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. The AVCSA of the campus supports the VCSA in providing leadership that enhances the campus’s overall student experience, from enrollment planning and management to student support and development. The Assistant Vice Chancellor assists with strengthening relationships with collegiate partners and with K-12 educational institutions in partnership with the K-12 team in the Kokomo Service Area. Additionally, the AVCSA works to build partnerships with community organizations, improving cross-functional teamwork in support of increased enrollment, retention, and educational achievement.
