Description POSITION SUMMARY: To maintain accurate inventory, receive raw materials and product into ERP, issue appropriate materials to production, to move production and other items from the plant floor to designated areas; store and ship according to customer requirements and company procedures while maintaining compliance with DHS, OSHA, FDA, and other certification agency requirements; to maintain a safe working environment, operate material handling equipment, and follow all company GMP, Code of Conduct and Safety Rules; to ship orders completely, accurately, and in a timely manner. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Operates forklift in a safe manner. Charge and water forklift batteries; - Loads and unloads trailers for shipments and receipts; - Utilizes ERP transactions for all receipts, movements and issuance of raw materials and packaging components; staging, and shipping of customer orders, warehouse transfers or customer returns; - Secures trailers with dock locks or wheel chocks before entering with a forklift.
