About the Role Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council is seeking a reliable and motivated Cleaner to support the day-to-day operations of the Accommodation Centre. This role is responsible for maintaining a high standard of cleanliness across the Accommodation Centre and other Council facilities, while providing a welcoming and positive experience for guests and visitors. Key Responsibilities: - Clean and maintain the Accommodation Centre in line with cleaning schedules - Service other Council facilities as required - Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and safety - Assist with stock control and inventory - Provide friendly and professional customer service - Follow all relevant cleaning and safety procedures About You: - Experience in cleaning or similar work (preferred) - Good time management and organisational skills - Ability to follow instructions and work independently - Friendly and approachable with a strong customer service focus - Willingness to learn and undertake training - Ability to work respectfully in a culturally diverse environment Mandatory Requirements: - Current Driver Licence (desirable) - Ability to obtain a National Police Check How to Apply: Don't m...
