Bargaining Unit: UUP Job Summary: The Department of Clinical Laboratories at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Supervisor / TH Associate Technical Director of Clinical Laboratory, Microbiology & Molecular Pathology. The successful candidate will: - Provide leadership to Virology, Serology, and Molecular Laboratory functions. - Prepare and implement budget for the Virology and Molecular Pathology Laboratory. - Review staffing needs and prepare work schedules. - Work closely with the Director and Hospital Infection Control Department to identify infectious disease outbreaks and to institute monitoring procedures. - Update LIS database as new revisions are implemented. - Review, update laborato...
