The ARA Better Fuels Group (BFG) is seeking a temporary engineering aide to provide technical and operational support to engineers on a variety of routine technical tasks. Under general supervision, the engineering aide gathers, maintains, formats, compiles and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Records data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. This is a full-time position; typical 8-hour shifts with occasional 12-hour shifts, days and/or nights, depending on project requirements. Overtime available as required. Essential functions: - Maintains necessary pilot plant documentation and logbooks. - Maintains and operates pilot plant equipment in a safe, precise, and accurate fashion. - Accurately compiles data to summarize experimental results. - Carries out all assigned tasks in an exemplary professional manner.
