This employee is generally responsible for the pre-employment physical review and processing for required positions. - Performs physical reviews in a timely and professional manner - Responsible for providing clinical and administrative assistance with Case Management and employee injuries JOB FUNCTIONS: - Generally responsible for clinical approval of new applicants meeting the physical standard required for applied position - Assesses physicals and provides recommendations on the hiring of new employees - Clarifies and follows up with clinicians after reviewing physicals - Obtains clearance from treating provider when warranted - Performs complete and professional assessments in accordance with Lincare policies and procedures - Maintains and establishes relationships with various Occupational Health Clinics throughout the US - Follows applicable policies and procedures of the Safety & Regulatory Manual regarding General Safety, OSHA (includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment), DOT (driving safety), FDA, and Emergency Planning - Facilitates and utilizes clinical portals when available - Collaborates with multiple departments to streamline hiring process - Maintains...
