Description Neurosurgery NCCU Position: Under the direction of the Chief Physician Assistant, Chief Nurse Practitioner and the Neuroscience Attendings, the hired candidate will join a team of Advanced Practice Providers who cover the Neurocritical care service, 24/7 in the NCCU. Our need is to have dynamic and hard-working individuals cover shifts in the NCCU. Orientation and training is provided to all new staff members regardless of experience. Responsibilities begin with taking care of critically ill neurosurgical and neurological patients with complex medical issues in a busy 14 - bed closed Neurocritical care unit. Team members are expected to monitor our patient's clinical status, deliver appropriate medical care promptly and effectively communicate with members of our service, as well as collaborating teams. Other duties include common bedside procedures such as placement of Mid lines, PICC lines, Arterial lines, Central lines, assisting with bronchoscopy and POCUS.
