Description The Department of Computer Science of the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions. Outstanding candidates in all areas of Computer Science will be considered. We particularly encourage candidates with expertise broadly in systems (especially security, databases, distributed systems, networking, programming languages, or architecture) or artificial intelligence and its applications (especially foundational machine learning or machine learning applications). All positions are subject to the availability of funding. The department is ranked among the top computer science departments in the country. It has 57 tenured and tenure-track faculty members across all areas of computer science.
