Department: Facilities Management We need dedicated team members to join us to keep the construction, operations, maintenance and infrastructure of the UMBC campus running smoothly so our students, faculty and staff can continue our mission of striving for excellence. Our staff maintains 70 university buildings on 512 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. Join our team of dedicated skills trades staff members! Position Overview: Under general supervision installs, services and repairs various components of commercial and industrial HVAC systems, including heat pumps and centralized air conditioning units up to 250 tons with multiple zone applications. Troubleshoots and maintains HVAC, piping, electrical, and control systems while ensuring an understanding of building mechanical operations for user comfort and efficiency. Manages work activities utilizing the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) AiM, completes required training programs, and contributes to the efficient operation of building systems.
