Risk Management is defined as the continuing process to identify, analyze, evaluate potential exposure(s) to current and future loss while monitoring the effectiveness of controls to mitigate undue risk. The Underwriting Department is tasked with assessing individuals as life insurance risks. Within the Underwriting Department the Underwriting Risk Management team ensures that our Underwriting Guidelines are appropriate, up to date and being followed properly; we help to establish guidelines for any new offerings and to ensure that existing Controls protect us against any undue risk of loss, current or future. The Risk Management team is comprised of experienced underwriters who require technical underwriting knowledge to identify any underlying risk.
