SUMMARY: Ensures that production personnel are supplied with sufficient quality and quantity of gauges to complete the customer driven production mission and verifies that all gauges are in proper repair and calibrated by performing the following duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Performs and maintains appropriate Measurement System Analysis. - Responsible for gauge calibration support for off-shift hours on an "on call" basis. - Maintains and ensures the calibration of the gauge inventory. - Performs gauge lab activities in order to support production and engineering research. - Confers with multi-disciplinary teams. - Originates product/process and containment/improvement documentation, such as corrective action forms, change request reviews, etc. - Recommends modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. - Responsible for development and adherence to the policies, procedures and instructions of the Quality, Materials, and Safety & Environmental systems. - Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quali...
