The Faculty of Humanities, is looking for a Part-time lecturer in Comparative Indo-European Linguistics (0,52 FTE) Vacancy number 26-16523: The Leiden University Centre for Linguistics (LUCL) is looking to employ a part-time lecturer in Comparative Indo-European Linguistics for a period of one year at the minimum and three years at the maximum, starting September 2026. Key responsibilities: · Teaching courses in the Comparative Indo-European Linguistics Track of the BA Linguistics and / or the Comparative Indo-European Linguistics Thematic Route of the MA Linguistics. Selection criteria: - A PhD degree in Comparative Indo-European Linguistics (the PhD thesis has to be approved before the start of the contract); - Demonstrable dedication to and experience with academic teaching, both at the BA and at the MA level; - Expertise in several subjects and languages taught in our BA and MA programmes related to Comparative Indo-European Linguistics.
