Description Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs-Professor/Associate Professor School/Department/Division: Creighton University School of Medicine, Office of the Dean, Office of Faculty Affairs (Omaha Campus) Full-Time: .6 FTE as Associate Dean, .4 FTE in: research, clinical setting, or teaching. The Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs will be a key member of the dean’s senior administrative team. The ideal candidate will serve as a resource for faculty by assisting and supporting their career advancement and will manage all faculty related issues. The Office of Faculty Affairs interacts directly with the Department Chairs and as needed Program Directors and Division Chiefs. Collaborates with the Offices of Research, Administration and Finance, Diversity, and Accreditation to support all the School Medicine’s programs and initiatives. The Associate Dean will oversee faculty actions, promotion and tenure processes, professionalism, CU SOM policies, faculty governance, and faculty data management systems, while also working to optimize operational effectiveness and implement innovative solutions.
