Summer Intern- AI Process Automation, Supply Chain and Operations

Overview Sharp Electronics is seeking an AI Process Automation Intern for the Summer of 2026. This internship provides an exciting opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in artificial intelligence and process automation while supporting Sharp’s Supply Chain & Operations division. The role is in person at Sharp Electronics Headquarters in Montvale NJ, with required in-person collaboration 2-3 times per week. Interns will contribute to real-world automation projects, gaining exposure to cross-functional collaboration, supply chain and demand planning processes, and the application of AI in business workflows. Responsibilities: - Partner with the Supply Chain & Operations division to identify processes that can be optimized through AI-driven automation. - Work closely with Sales and Operations Planning team to assist with automating data pipelines and reporting dashboards using Python, SQL, or BI tools. - Instruct other team members how to properly and effectively utilize current LLMs (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.). - Develop and test AI/ML models to improve forecast accuracy and inventory optimization. - Support scenario planning and sensitivity analysis using AI-dr...
