Description Overview: The Senior Software Engineer will be a high-agency individual responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining Blue Heron's enterprise operating platform from the ground up. This is a greenfield build with company-wide scope. The platform will consolidate core business functions into a single operating platform that reduces the need for employees to work across multiple disconnected software systems and tools. This role is the primary software engineer for the platform and owns the technical architecture end to end, with support from a Data & Software Engineer and an IT Development Specialist. The Senior Software Engineer will work directly with the company's head of technology to translate business requirements into production-ready software and help shape key technical decisions as the platform evolves.
