SUMMARY/JOB PURPOSE: The Senior Information Governance Manager will be responsible for leading the Exelixis Records Program, actively participating in the Exelixis Information Governance Committee and its initiatives, and providing Litigation and eDiscovery project support. Records Program : The SIGM will take a practical, hands-on, risk-based approach to developing the Records Program to meet the Company’s growth and needs over time. Primary responsibilities include developing and implementing policies and employee training, managing enterprise records vendors, collaborating with IT on long term data preservation, maintaining the physical laboratory notebook archive, and actively monitoring Record Program compliance. Information Governance : The SIGM will serve as an active member of the cross-functional Information Governance Committee to represent Legal’s interests in record-related topics, including collaborating with IT on the evaluation, standards, and governance for enterprise systems of record.
