Position Purpose: With a focus on providing superior customer service and leading a successful bakery team, the Asst. Bakery Team Lead is someone who strives to meet department goals and objectives while providing customers with product expertise and the freshest, tastiest and best quality bakery products. Responsibilities: An Asst. Bakery Team Lead is a responsible, friendly person who can safely work in a fast-paced environment and provide excellent customer service. An Asst. Bakery Team Lead’s responsibilities include: Employees may occasionally experience the following physical demands for an extended period: Standing, Sitting, Lifting + Stocking (Up to 50 lbs.), Pushing, Keyboarding, Telephone Use, Walking, Bending - Directing bakery department personnel, meeting department’s goals and objectives - Managing and bakery while the bakery team lead is not on duty. - Communicating directly with the bakery team lead, store director and bakery specialist. - Ordering the supplies and products necessary to maintain adequate stock levels. - Merchandising bakery goods in accordance with bakery merchandising standards. - Execute and support all sales and merchandising initiatives. - Servi...
