Department: 36217 Navicent Health Medical Center - Ambulance Services: Baldwin Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: 24hr Pay Range: $20.80 - $31.20 Major Responsibilities: Emergency Medical Response: Respond promptly to emergency calls, assess patient conditions, and provide appropriate pre-hospital care in accordance with established protocols. Patient Assessment and Stabilization: Perform physical assessments, obtain vital signs, and administer life-saving interventions such as CPR, bleeding control, and airway management. Safe Patient Transport: Safely transport patients to medical facilities while monitoring and continuing care en route, ensuring patient comfort and safety. Infection Control and Safety Compliance: Adhere to OSHA standards and universal precautions to prevent exposure to bloodborne pathogens and infectious materials. Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document patient care, observations, and interventions in electronic or written reports for medical and legal purposes.
