Description Join JC Ford Company, Inc. as a CAD Designer/Draftsman in Columbia, TN. This internship offers hands-on experience in Part validation, Inventor & Vault. You will work closely with our Design team to support the development of cutting-edge products that uphold JC Ford’s reputation as an industry leader. Qualifications: Prior internship experience or coursework related to CAD design is advantageous. Benefits: - Utilize Autodesk Inventor CAD software to develop innovative and market-leading product designs. - Apply knowledge of manufacturing principles, engineering practices, mathematics, materials, and physical sciences to design components for various manufacturing processes including machining, sheet metal bending/rolling, welding, and CNC machining. - Create and update detailed production engineering drawings for assemblies, components, and layouts. - Verify dimensions, materials, and positional relationships of components within CAD assemblies. - Establish and adhere to drafting standards in line with company guidelines. - Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for mechanical parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies. - Organize and manage production CAD files us...
