Description: The Emory University Division of Pediatric Nephrology is seeking to hire our 16th BC/BE pediatric nephrologist to join our very collegial group of pediatric nephrologists. This position is predominantly clinical, although there are many opportunities to engage in quality improvement, clinical research, and education. Division of Pediatric Nephrology: Our division is very active clinically. We average 25-30 pediatric kidney transplants per year and follow more than 200 kidney transplant recipients. We follow 40-50 chronic pediatric dialysis patients. We have dedicated clinics for kidney transplantation, peritoneal dialysis, hypertension, transition of kidney transplant patients, lupus, and chronic kidney disease. Our ACGME accredited fellowship program was founded in 2007 and we currently have six superb fellows.
