Accounts Officer

Job description

About the role This is a part time position working three days per week, working closely with our Finance Manager, Financial Accountant and wider Finance team, you will contribute to a broad range of accounting and administrative duties, including: You’ll gain hands on experience across the finance function while being supported by experienced leaders who are invested in your development. - Assisting with general accounting functions, including transaction processing and journals - Supporting billing tasks such as invoice adjustments, charge out rates and disbursements - Ensuring strong internal controls, processes and audit trails are maintained - Maintaining accurate financial records and filing systems - Assisting with month end and year end processing - Supporting accounts payable - Supporting accounts receivable and the receipting process - Managing the timely processing of credit card transactions - Maintaining petty cash and cheque payments - Providing backup support to the Trust Accounting Officer About You: We welcome applicants who are looking to step into an Accounts Officer or Accounts Assistant position - whether you're currently studying, looking to build corporate ex...
