Department: Status: Benefits Eligible: No Hou rs Per Week: 8 Schedule Details/Additional Information: - 1 shift per week - Shift may vary (Days, PMs, NOCs) Pay Range: $21.85 - $32.80 Unit Description: 4CD - Geriatric Observation/ Med Tele: 4CD is a 26 bed Medical/Telemetry unit with medical/surgical overflow comprised of both private and semi-private patient rooms. Most patients are admitted from the Emergency Department, making it a great learning experience. You will care for a very diverse population with multiple acute and chronic illnesses including COPD, CHF, chest pain, diabetes, wounds, cellulitis, stroke, pneumonia, and minor surgical patients (appendectomy, cholecystectomy, etc). The goal for most patients to be discharged within 24-48hrs of admission . We are a fast-paced medical unit which is the perfect place to learn new skills and have the opportunity to work as a partner alongside our multidisciplinary team.
