Structural Engineer Work Location: Huntsville, AL: Schedule: Full Time 40 hours per week; 8 hours per day in office (remote work is not authorized) Relocation: Negotiable: This position is contingent upon contract award. IronMountain Solutions is seeking a Structural Engineer supporting an upcoming Long Range Standoff Weapon (LRSO) effort in Huntsville, AL. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the evaluation, maintenance, repair, and overhaul of existing aviation platforms. This role is critical to ensuring reliable and efficient retrofitting or upgrading structural components in complex mechanical and electromechanical platforms. Education and General Experience: - Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace, or structural engineering or a related field is required and at least twelve (12) years of relevant experience with emphasis on evaluation, repair, modification, or production support of aviation structures. - Familiarity with aircraft materials (aluminum alloys, composites, titanium, etc.) and structural joints (riveted, bonded, bolted). - Proficient in interpreting 2D/3D CAD models, structural drawings, and aircraft maintenance manuals (AMMs, SRMs, CMMs). - W...
