Department/Unit: Anesthesiology General Work Shift: Day (United States of America) Salary Range: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist works under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist to provide safe and effective anesthesia to patients in either an OR setting, procedure room or MRI setting. Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served across the lifespan. This position may work shifts ranging from 8-hours to 24-hours. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Administer general and regional anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist according to delineation of privileges. - Participate in the pre and postoperative evaluation and management of patients. - Assist in the care and maintenance of supplies and equipment used in administering anesthesia care. - Respond to emergencies related to airway management and resuscitation. - Participation in Albany Medical College’s Center for Nurse Anesthesiology program by participation in didactic and clinical teaching and evaluation of students. - Assist in the maintenance of hospital procedures, policies, safety regulations, and program objectives....
