Surgery Scheduler ( Job Number: 39870 ) Description: University of Colorado Anschutz: Department: Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Title: Surgery Scheduler: Position #: 00847541 – Requisition #: 39870 Job Summary: In the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, as part of the larger University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine, we have access to an intensive care unit, cutting-edge equipment, and multiple teams of subspecialists in female health. This allows us to address even the most complex medical problems. We also provide a wide array of reconstructive surgical options, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery. The individual in this position will function as the liaison between the patient and the providers for all non-clinical issues, including scheduling office visits and procedures within the clinics, communicating pre-appointment instructions and appointment confirmations, insurance verifications, and/or pre-authorizations as necessary.
