Full Time: Days: Shift: Thurs & Fri, 930a-10p; Sat 730a-10p Job Summary: Operates radiology equipment to produce radiographic images of the body for diagnostic routine purposes. Positions radiologic equipment and adjusts controls to set exposure time and distance according to specification of the examination. Takes x-rays following established radiologic requirements and regulations to ensure patient care and safety. Minimum Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: Registration from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Work Experience: 0 to 6 months of related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Working knowledge of digital radiography (DR) and/or computerized radiography (CR) equipment, techniques, and protocols. The ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to work as a team and collaborate with co-workers as well as independently.
