Superintendent I SUMMARY: Mortenson is currently seeking a Superintendent I (Building Site/Civil) that will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and supervising assistant superintendents, contractors, and craft activities in a particular area of discipline, while developing and enhancing customer relationships through excellent service. RESPONSIBILITIES: Site & Civil Construction Leadership: - Plan, coordinate, and oversee mass grading, excavation, backfill, and erosion control activities to support accelerated site readiness milestones - Lead installation of underground utilities including storm, sanitary, water, ductbank, and associated structures - Coordinate building foundations, slabs-on-grade, and exterior concrete in alignment with vertical construction sequencing - Manage site access, haul routes, laydown areas, and logistics plans across a multi-building campus environment - Partner with building superintendents to ensure smooth handoff from civil/site scopes to vertical construction Planning, Scheduling & Coordination: - Develop and manage short-interval plans, including three- and six-week look-ahead schedules for civil scopes - Ensure materials, equipment, and ins...
