About This Team and Role The Senior Director, Finance will lead the optimization and governance of transaction-based financial workflows across Commercial Services. This individual will leverage their financial modeling skills, business acumen, leadership, curiosity, and communication skills to provide insights and clarity around financial performance and projections. This is a high impact role focused on operational value creation. The ideal candidate will be able to take a strategic view of the Verra Mobility Commercial Services Organization and provide analysis and recommendations at an executive level to maximize shareholder value. What You'll Do: - Own the financial performance of transaction-based operational flows, including payment processing, merchant economics, refunds, and external partner payments - Lead strategy and oversight of merchant processing relationships, fee structures, interchange optimization, and settlement flows - Continuously evaluate processor performance, pricing models, and contract terms to maximize economics - Implement controls and analytics to monitor transaction costs, chargebacks, and network fees - Identify and capture margin enhancement opportu...
