Job Summary The Executive Director of Extended, Professional, and Continuing Education (EPaCE) is a leadership role responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of both programmatic initiatives and administrative operations in Extended, Professional and Continuing Education. Department Summary: Extended, Professional and Continuing Education (EPaCE) develops and delivers innovative and financially self-supporting academic and educational programs to extend Cal Poly’s reach to market opportunities beyond its traditional University programs. Key Qualifications: - Ability to use tact and diplomacy to effectively handle a broad range of high-level and sensitive interpersonal situations with diverse personalities, and to respond appropriately to conflicts and problems. - Ability to initiate, establish, and foster communication and teamwork by maintaining a positive, cooperative, productive work atmosphere in and outside the University with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within a diverse population and with those from various cultural backgrounds. - General knowledge of the principles, practices and trends of the field of extensi...
