About the role The Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviours (HSB) Program provides a specialist, trauma-safe and culturally safe response to children and young people who are displaying harmful sexual behaviours. The service provides opportunities for healing, support, counselling and a therapeutic response; working holistically with all those around the child or young person. The Specialist HSB Program assists children and young people and adults to recover from the harmful impacts of trauma, and assists families and communities to support children and young people in the healing process. The Counsellor will be responsible for ensuring the provision of professional child/young people, adult and family counselling services in consultation with the Principal Practitioner and Pilbara Services Manager. This is a Full-Time opportunity based in Port Hedland, WA within our Specialist Harmful Sexual Behaviours Program. The position reports to the Clinical Coordinator.
