Permanent Position – Hybrid The Marketing Event Specialist develops, plans and executes events and educational programs hosted by Fasken for its clients. The role involves working directly with the firm’s partners, associates, industry and practice leaders as well as other departments, vendors and clients in the Ontario Region. Hours of work are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. ET. Occasional pre-authorized overtime may be required to meet business and client needs. Must be available to work in the office as required for in- person events. This role is a hybrid position. Primary Responsibilities: - Develop and execute firm-hosted in-person, hybrid and online events - Assess and recommend event strategies that achieve business objectives and prepare communications related to these events - Manage timelines and budgets for events and help activate sponsored events - Coordinate logistics including room booking and set up, invitations and list management, AV/IT requirements, assisting speakers, hostess requirements and on site support - Develop and foster relationships with recommend vendors, suppliers, caterers and offsite venues - Work with firm members to leverage leads...
