Overview VTC/AV/Logistician Onsite | Franconia, VA | 5 Days a Week - 25% National TravelActive Top Secret Clearance Required - Ability to obtain a SCIResponsibilitiesOur client is seeking a VTC/AV Installer to support their law enforcement customer! The ideal candidate will have experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of video teleconferencing (VTC)/AV systems and will be proficient in handling various types of cabling and related hardware. The Installer will work closely with personnel and customers to ensure the successful implementation of VTC solutions. - Follow schematics for the installation of VTC/AV systems - Interpret installation drawings and design packages, applying that knowledge to cabling installation - Promote a safe work environment and implement safe work practices - Handle and install LC, MTRJ, and SC connector termination - Test fiber-optic and copper cabling systems for accuracy and reliability - Install various types of cable tray, PDS, and Electrical Metallic Tubing (EMT) conduit up to four (4) inches - Document any red-line changes to drawings accurately - Provide effective communication to ensure all installation work is understood an...
