Medication Aide Shifts: Full-time - Night Shift Tues-Sat (6pm - 6am); Full-time Evening (2pm-10pm) Location: Ovation Sienna Hills, 1525 E Ovation Place, Washington, UT 84780 Apply at: www.teamavamere.com The Medication Aide / Tech administers routine medications and documents administration per policy while supporting resident care and reporting concerns to nursing leadership. Responsibilities: - Verify ID of resident prior to medication administration - Administer medications per physician order and document it was given. - Report to Team Leader any errors, refusal or reactions to medications immediately. - Report to Team Leader and complete medication error incident report when there is an error in the administration of medications. - Ensure medications are properly labeled and stored according to medication instructions. - Ensure medications are reordered when necessary and destroyed as indicated. - Complete proper medication destruction. Narcotics should be destroyed with Med Tech and LPN/RN witnessed and cosigned. Non narcotics should be destroyed by Med Tech or LPN - Report any complaints or grievances made by residents to the Team Leader. - Attend and participate in care pla...
