Title: Adjunct Faculty - Radiography Salary Range: $800 per credit hour Contract Term Length: Not Applicable: Standard Hours: Varies: Work Location: On-Site: FLSA Status: Exempt: College: Bluegrass Community & Technical College Campus Location: Bluegrass C&TC - Leestown Campus Department: Radiography: Job Summary: Provide clinical instruction for first- and second-year radiography students in a hospital and/or clinical setting. Job Duties: - Working with the clinical coordinator, the clinical instructor must ensure that the specific hospital guidelines are followed and requirements for student clinical instruction are met prior to each clinical rotation. - Providing students an example of how specific imaging exams are to be performed according to hospital protocol. - Assigning students daily workloads that will provide opportunities to obtain the necessary clinical experience and completion of check-offs found in Trajecsys, the software used to track student lab/clinical performance as they progress through the program. - Being available to aid students when difficulties and/or questions arise in providing care. - Providing students feedback on their performance in a timely manner...
