Job description

Location: DC Metro Pay:- $65/hr- affiliated with the Local 602 union $25K SIGNING BONUS!!!: 4-5 weeks of PTO Certifications & Training: - EPA 608 Universal Certification (required) - OSHA 10/30 Safety Training (preferred; must complete within 90 days if not held) - OEM/Factory Training (at least one preferred, multiple strongly preferred): - Carrier Chiller Certification (19XR, 19XRV, 23XRV, AquaEdge, etc.) - Trane CenTraVac / Series R Factory Training - York YK/YT/YVAA Chiller Certification - Daikin/McQuay Water-Cooled Chiller Certification - VFD (Variable Frequency Drive) factory or equivalent training (ABB, Danfoss, Trane, etc.) - BAS/Controls familiarity (Johnson, Siemens, Honeywell, Trane Tracer, Carrier i-Vu) Technical Knowledge & Skills: - Minimum of 5–7 years of hands-on water-cooled chiller service experience - Proficient in centrifugal, screw, and absorption chiller technologies - Ability to perform tear-downs, overhauls, and tube brushing/cleaning - Strong understanding of refrigerant handling, reclaim, recovery, and charging (including A2L refrigerants) - Skilled in reading and interpreting mechanical, electrical, and control schematics - Experience with eddy current te...
