Responsibilities, authorities and accountabilities For controlled titles that require approval by Chief Engineer. This is reserved for the very selected top experts engineers and should not be used without specific consent. - Conduct frequent interactions on manager level with Engineering, maintenance, planning and enabling functions about technical and organizational alignment. - Handles complex manufacturing processes. Manufacturing department has to define approaches. Variety due to customization to client needs. - Leads a medium sized manufacturing unit with a budget > $ 5 million. Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in Principal Manufacturing Engineer. Desired Characteristics: The Baker Hughes internal title for this role is: Manufacturing Advisor - Principal Manuf Engineer - Strong oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.
