Description Main Purpose: The Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of plant power and control systems, troubleshooting electrical issues and performing preventative maintenance. Essential Functions: - Install, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, wiring and equipment - Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and electrical diagrams - Bend and install conduit effectively and safely - Pull wire and wire circuits, including 4-way switch configurations - Integrate transformers and connect 3-phase motors - Work with 208V and 480V electrical panels - Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical systems - Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety policies - Diagnose electrical malfunctions and make necessary repairs or replacements - Maintain and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), control panels, motors and other electrical components - Assist with power distribution and ensure proper grounding and circuit protection - Collaborate with engineers, maintenance per...
