Overview About the Role: Under the direction of the Executive Director, the Chief Technologist Radiology oversees the daily technical operation within the Department of Radiology. The Chief Technologist Radiology supervises technical staff, schedules and assigns technical staff to specific tasks, ensures the accuracy and quality of the radiologic images, trains and orients technical staff, monitoring. The Chief Technologist Radiology is also responsible for coordinating activities regarding budgeting, purchasing, contractual agreements, compliance with hospital policy and regulatory promote the mission, vision and value statement of University Hospital. Responsibilities: What You’ll Do: - Ensures that all technical procedures are performed in accordance with established protocols, including working with the RIS, PACS, and inventory systems. - Interprets oral and written request from physicians in order to perform the exam(s) accurately. - Assists the physicians during the procedure as needed. - Maintains accurate and appropriate documentation of procedures and department statistics, as required. - Cross checks the Physician/Fellow/Physician Assistant/Nurse for the readiness status...
