As we continue to grow, we are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Cost Accountant in our Lawrence, KS location. Position Summary: The Cost Accountant will be responsible for accounting for the cost of sales, inventory item cost, perpetual inventory value, project tracking and variance analysis. Wage and Schedule: The Schedule is Monday through Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. Some travel and off shift inventory events required. Essential Functions: - Responsible for Daily Work Order Processing and Analyzing. - Works with Shop Floor to reduce/eliminate Work Order Errors. - Pulls Hours files to calculate Units Per Labor Hour-daily/weekly/monthly. - Monthly Journal Entries and P&L Review. - Involved with Product Council to review Projects. - Maintain IL/GL Integrity. - Obsolete Inventory Analysis. - Variance Analysis. - Review PPV Reports weekly/monthly. - Cost Reporting and Tracking on all Projects. - Performs Ann...
