Job DetailsJob Location: Reno, OH 45750Position Type: TemporaryJob Shift: Varies as scheduledJob Category: Clerical SupportIn an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Scheduler is responsible for quality patient care in which orders are received by phone, fax and by electronic lists through the EMR. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times. Job Functions: Maintains knowledge of all modalities and scheduling exam/visits for Memorial Health System. Schedules any of the modalities listed below: PT/OT, Speech, Infusion, Physician offices, Radiology, Vascular, Cath lab, Oncology, Sleep Lab, EMG. Schedules appointments for patients as ordered from providers by incoming calls, faxed orders and from the electronic lists. Schedules appointments appropriately based off of the order from the providers and according to the scheduling policies. Accurately interprets written and verbal orders from providers. Requests appropriate orders based on the requirements set forth in the Order Policy.
