What you’ll need to succeed as a Safety Manager at XPO Minimum qualifications: - 5 years of experience in transportation safety, accident/injury prevention programs, FMCSRs, DOT, Hazardous Materials and OSHA regulations - A valid driver's license - Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends - Available to travel 50-75% of the time Preferred qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Business , Supply Chain, Transportation or Safety, or 5 years of equivalent work or military experience - Behavior-based safety experience - Emergency Management/ Response experience - Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL) - Experience creating a climate in which people want to do their best; ability to motivate and inspire personnel to support the company’s safety vision - Experience presenting information to a variety of audiences, including peers, direct reports, and executives, via one-on-one meetings and small/large group sessions - Solid written and verbal communication skills - Collaborative and results-oriented with solid problem-solving skills - Creative thinking skills with the ability to balance multiple projects and tasks simultaneously About the Saf...
