Overview: Business Title: Analyst I Position Title: Laboratory Analyst I, Metals Division: Consumer Products Services: Entity: ATL: Reports to: Metals Laboratory Supervisor I FLSA: Non-exempt: Hours Worked : Second shift typically 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday through Friday, forty-hours per week. However, must be flexible to meet the needs of the department and complete other projects as assigned. Position Summary: The Laboratory Analyst I, Metals is responsible for preparing and analyzing a wide variety of client samples for elemental content using analytical chemistry methodology and various spectroscopic instruments. Duties and Responsibilities: - Preparing samples, standard reference materials, reagents, and/or solutions. - Maintaining a clean and well-organized work area. - Performing and documenting routine maintenance and calibration of instrumentation. - Documenting/recording raw data and results of analyses. - Executing analytical procedures in accordance with the appropriate regulations. - Follow the guidelines set forth with the company Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental policies and procedures. - Comply with company management systems in accordance with...
