Title: Exam Room Chaperone Location: Upper East Side: Org Unit: Nursing and Technicians: Work Days: Weekly Hours: 35.00 Exemption Status: Non-Exempt: Salary Range: $25.65 - $28.07: *As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices Position Summary: Under direction, act as chaperone during examination and IVF monitoring. Conveys a positive image of the physician's practice. Job Responsibilities: - Assist in the re-stocking of phlebotomy room and exam rooms, recovery and O.R. room, Deliver and pick-up instruments to and from Central Sterile Supply. - Assist with the flow of patients; direct patient to correct exam room, instruct patient in preparation and return to exam room with physician to chaperone exam or ultrasound. Escorts patients to examination and O.R. room - Takes notes and documentation as requested by physician. - Transports specimens and semen analysis collection samples to laboratories.
