SUMMARY: The 4th Class Stationary Engineman holds a certificate of qualification issued by the province in which the work will be performed and has passed any required test. Their mandate is to manage the facility’s systems, perform preventative maintenance, and provide routine and on-demand services on assigned facility equipment, in accordance with company policies and professional accreditation requirements. The Stationary Engineman is also responsible for performing work in accordance with established practices and procedures and for meeting internal and external requirements, including those for the environment, health and safety, and fire safety. KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Building systems operations and maintenance: - The 4th Class Stationary Engineman must conduct inspection rounds, record their observations and ensure that readings on equipment and gauges are in accordance with regulations, operating procedures and occupational health and safety standards. - The 4th Class Stationary Engineman performs troubleshooting to identify mechanical equipment problems.
