Lube Technician (Preventative Maintenance)

Description POSITION SUMMARY: The Preventative Maintenance Tech (Lube Tech) is responsible for performing scheduled preventive maintenance inspections and basic repairs on heavy construction equipment, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with manufacturer and company standards. This role supports service operations by identifying potential issues early, reducing unplanned downtime, and extending equipment life. Responsibilities: - Perform routine inspections, oil and filter changes, lubrication, adjustments, and system checks per OEM guidelines. - Document completed maintenance services, noting condition reports, fluid samples, and any recommended repairs. - Use diagnostic tools and service manuals to identify potential issues. - Report major repair needs to service advisors/lead technicians. - Maintain accurate PM records in service management systems (e.g., Quipwear, Modern, Wearcheck, Miro, Vizalogix, CareTrack). - Perform minor component replacements (belts, hoses, bulbs, wiper blades, etc.). - Adhere to safety standards, lock-out/tag-out procedures, and environmental regulations for waste fluids. - Support field service teams by performing PMs on customer job...
