ECS seeks a Basic Cost Analyst to support the Missile Defense Agency in Dahlgren, VA . The successful candidate will: - Collaborate with team members and supervisors on assigned projects and activities. - Deliver high-quality analytical products with a strong emphasis on accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness. - Develop a deeper understanding of the organization while strengthening core analytical skills. - Assist with cost estimating and cost analysis efforts under general supervision. - Support sensitivity, risk, and uncertainty analysis activities. - Follow established procedures and coordinate effectively with stakeholders. - Apply foundational analytical and statistical techniques to solve routine cost analysis challenges. You will also be asked to: - Prepare and provide Analyses of Alternatives, Business Case Analyses, and mid-term and far-term architecture planning studies. - Analyze Contract Performance Reports (CPRs) and Cost and Software Data Reports (CSDRs) formerly CCDRs and incorporate data into cost estimates. - Develop Cost Models and articulate results both in written form and verbally. - Conduct Cost Research Studies. - Conduct budget analysis and budget formulatio...
