Description The Division of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care, Department of Pediatrics at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt (MCC) seeks an experienced, board-certified pediatric cardiac intensivist to serve as medical director for the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (PCICU). This position is available on the Tenure, Clinician Educator, or Clinical Practice track. Successful applicants will be board certified in Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Critical Care or have one year of advanced training in Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care. In view of the creation of a new Division of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care within the Department of Pediatrics, the current medical director will be promoted to the role of Division Director effective April 1, 2026. The Division of Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care is currently comprised of 10 faculty members who staff a 27 bed PCICU and support an ACGME-approved fellowship training program in collaboration with the Division of Pediatric Critical Care.
