Position Summary Acuren is seeking a professional, energetic and forward-thinking CEDO Technician with IRATA certification to support operations at LNG site located in Kitimat, BC. Position Details: Location: Position is based locally in Kitimat, BC at LNG site Start date: Immediately: Shift/Hours: 5/2 rotation, 40 hrs./week and possible overtime Wage: $36.54/hr., depending on certifications in accordance with the QCC Agreement Relocation: We are able to offer up to 3 months of temporary housing to assist with your relocation transition if required. Responsibilities: - Prepare and position radiographic exposure devices and sources, such as gamma or X-ray equipment, to conduct inspections. - Calibrating the equipment, securing the area, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed to protect themselves and others from radiation exposure. - Perform radiographic examinations on materials, welds, or components to detect internal flaws, such as cracks, voids, or other irregularities. - Implement and monitor strict safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure to themselves and others. - Ensure that all activities comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
