Full Time: Days: Work Schedule: Job Summary: The Epic Client Systems Administrator installs and maintains the Epic client system servers and applications. The Epic Client Systems Administrator is proficient in Windows Server OS, Citrix platform and Epic client systems servers such as Hyperspace, EPS, WebBloB, and System Pulse. Responsibilities include monitoring servers performance and troubleshooting issues; applying hot fixes, security updates, and service packs; maintaining Epic client systems backups and verifying restores; managing security; managing and maintaining the environments that serve production, reporting, disaster recovery, training, and non- production needs; testing failover procedures for high availability; engaging in capacity planning exercises to ensure adequate system resources; and following Epic best practices for hardware and software configuration. Participates on project teams as a key contributor as well as responsible for relationship with Epic and opening and coordinating issues with Epic.
