Work with kindness and compassion honoring the deceased. Prepares room set-up, breakdown, and cleaning including refreshments, floral, and family mementos for funeral services and events. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: - Prepares rooms for services and events. Physically moves and sets up chairs, tables, easels, podiums, photos and other personal keepsakes or mementos of client families. Displays floral arrangements that may weight up to 50 pounds, photos, easels, and similar momentous. May arrange caskets and urns. - Prepares table for refreshments, including food, beverage, serving dishes, utensils, and similar that may be provided by catering, family, or company. May serve food to guests as permitted by state/local ordinance. - Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization during event - After event, pack up family mementos and provide to the family upon departure or arrange for delivery. - Cleans up room ensuring proper disposal of trash as well as care and storage company items.
